Strength & Conditioning
Our Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Michael Keane hails from Dublin, Ireland. He has a degree in Kinesiology and is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as the Titleist Performance Institute. Coach Keane earned his degree at Missouri Baptist University where he captained the soccer team in his time there. Originally a teacher of P.E and Health here in St. Louis, Mike has been training athletes for 10 years of various sports. Check out more info here.
The goal of the Strength and Conditioning Program will be to supplement the work done on the field by:
1. Injury prevention through a functional movement assessment accompanied by corrective exercises to alleviate limitations
2. Establishing stability
3. Increasing full body strength
4. Developing power
5. Increasing speed and agility
6. Teaching lifelong fitness
AIl Strength and Conditioning sessions will be age appropriate and catered to individual needs and limitations, if any. We believe in starting with the basics whereby movement quality is at the forefront and progressing to the next level based on proficiency of movement.
